"Life is short but art endures"
I was driving, passing through a place called Carvalhal, in Portugal, when I saw an old shed on the roadside selling second hand stuff. I had to stop! The first thing that caught my attention was the incredible amount of old doors scattered all around the place. And then, against one of the shed's walls, I saw this old painting and the surrounding elements and just loved the combination.

Magnificent capture, Marco! I agree with Chrystyne Novack. This would be the perfect logo for THE GALLERY WALL group! L/F

What a very interesting photograph - textures and peeling paint, the mirror showing the lovely blue sky and then the coke sign emphasising the beauty of the gem in the centre - the classical painting !

Excellent find - It feels like we have been wading through all the vintage and second hand stuff to find that one item that really stands out from the crowd. The unusual little gem among all others...and we find it in the oil painting of the lady sandwiched between an old sink and a Coke sign.
