This place has its own legend (see below)… However, I was leaning towards something more ... Mystic! So I decided to create a small scenario that my imagination stole from other places and other times!
The legend says that, a long time ago, a very rich man lived here. He owned properties on both banks of the Alfusqueiro River, but never bothered to build a bridge. He was a very miser. One day, a stranger dressed in black appeared to him and said that he would build him a bridge, but in return he wanted the soul of the rich man. The rich man realized immediately that it was the devil he was talking to, but even so, he signed the contract with his own blood. The rich man did not believe that the devil could build the bridge on time, until Christmas Eve as agreed, so he hoped to keep his soul. But the construction was proceeding rapidly. About Marco Oliveira
I was born in 1976, in Portugal. Grew up in a small town in the countryside and later, at the age of 18, moved on to the big city. It was a difficult transition at the beginning, but in time I learned to love and enjoy the beauty of both. But, truth be told, I still favor nature over concrete! Thankfully, in either case, the marine coast has always been a short drive away! I'm not saying I like the beach - because I don't! - but I love the seascapes! I'm happily married and father of one gorgeous boy! I fell in love with TV and movies very early on in my life. Not surprisingly, that dictated my future: I'm a TV producer, journalist and film critic! I've produced several TV shows and I've written movie reviews for several newspapers and...
